*Effective 1-1-2009, ALL California vehicles will no longer be based upon G.V.W. (Gross Vehicle Weight) and engine size. Application look-up is the only approved method for determining the correct part number for ALL California Vehicles. It is illegal in California to select a catalytic converter for installation based solely on vehicle weight, engine size, physical shape, size, configuration or pipe diameter. MagnaFlow's California OBDII Catalytic Converters are the first series of a new line of converters designed for use on vehicles equipped with Second Generation On-Board Diagnostic (OBDII) systems. They are designed, tested, and catalogued for specific vehicles. They are not traditional universal converters. These converters have higher efficiency than conventional strict California requirements for conversion efficiency and durability. These converters are warranted for 5 years or 50,000 miles on the converter body and 5 years on the performance of the internal catalyst, including replacement for OBDII diagnostic codes for low catalyst efficiency.

The 45000 series converter is designed for use with medium to large sized engines in vehicles certified to Tier 1. TLEV and LEV standards. Refer to catalog and bulletins for correct applications.
